Hi, I'm Kai 👋🏻

I'm a full-stack software developer and sound engineer based in Melbourne, Australia. I have a passion for internal tools, software automation, and telling theatre stories through sound design. I currently freelance as a full-stack web developer and do live events and IT work through my company Sidechain Software .

I work with a variety of technologies, but I have a soft spot for React, Astro, and Next.js. I'm also a big fan of C# and the .NET ecosystem. Through some stock products for Sidechain Software, I've also been working with Golang and Rust through technologies like Wails and Tauri .

    • Working with clients in musical theatre, comedy, cabaret, live music and corporate events
    • Working collaboratively with venue clients to create performances to their requirements and troubleshoot issues during shows to ensure their success
